A slight twist on army placement.

1. Players start with their entire army in a "starting pool".
2. Decide randomly (or somehow) who goes first/chooses terrain.
3. Roll the terrain dice.
4. Starting with the first player, each player in turn order places one die at a terrain.

- Same normal limits apply (at least one die, no more than 50%)

This seems like both interesting and frustrating at the same time. I will have to try it out for a few practice games with me, myself, and I.

I think I might have misstated what I was going for. I didn't mean "Place one unit, then take your turn". I meant:

Before the game begins, each player, in order, places one unit at a terrain. Repeat this process until all units have been placed. Then begin the game as normal.

It is likely that everyone has a different number of units. I would think that placing 4 health worth at a time would be better, since everyone would be finished placing at the same time.
