Some people got very close last month, but there was one critical thing they all missed...

However for now, lets move onto this image. This is on another one of our promotional cards (which can be used for army placement).

Lets see who can name all the 'units' that are in this image...

I'm not aware of an obvious error in this one, and don't be too critical on the weaponry.

BOD be silent Twisted Evil

I'm curious if the ShareHolders know and are just being quiet or if they missed it too...

Drider, spider rider (those sound great together), fusilier, bladesman, adept? You could argue that the circle is in fact a beholder under the illusion spell. Then again, perhaps the whole army is an illusion...

Absence of headgear makes this a bit complicated.

There's room for a beholder...
it floats afterall...

if we can get Jeramie to paint one...

I think he would paint a Great Beholder....

did you ever see his crazy giraffe?

If he painted a beholder I could composite it into the painting.

Cool

The Beholder is one of those 'funny' monsters. For a long time the copyright on it wasn't enforced and then it started to be...

There is a long discussion I can't share here, but the end result is that its just too risky. i.e. I'm not going risk the entire company and game on one character in one image. :-s

Well if you saw Jerramie's crazy giraffe..
then you would know his rendition of the beholder would be fantastic.

I still think there is room for a beholder.
Jeremy's style would be perfect.

We can't picture a Beholder without running into copyright problems with Hasbro. So it won't happen. Sorry.

Well...
don't need to rock the boat...
however,
Reaper does have an Eye Beast.
And I've seen several versions as well...

or the Conjunctivus

anyways,

the LE painting is cool,
I just thought the beholder would add that extra pizzaz!!

I would say the Lurker is that orange, round thing on the upper right side of the picture, hanging from the ceiling.

To the rights on the Beholder, SFR bought DD with all rights on it, so why can't you picture it?

Because we brought the rights to use the name, but not the image. That may seem like a very fine point, but trust me, it's a point were Hasbro could shut us down so hard, we'd never recover.

Why is there a "W" on his belt? Does it stand for Wumbo? "Ya know I Wumbo, you Wumbo, he/she/they Wumbo."
