So I was kicking around the idea of magical musical instruments that boost the results of the army. Make them ivory dice, this instruments would be: Flute, Drum, Trumpet. Perhaps SAI's like Rally, Trumpet, Howl...Etc. Any one else have any ideas . I know this probably will never happen but i just like kicking around ideas.

As a musician myself, i like the idea of instruments to rally the troops.

Warfare of the type that takes place in the World of Esfah, would have fifers or drummers and even trumpet players (trumpetiers?)

Ooh! This is a cool idea. If I had blank D4s in the wedge style, I'd engrave some tests, but alas. . . hmmm, maybe polymer clay.

Or a new class of troops to go with the others in every army. Bards! I'll have to give this idea some more thought.

Actually, that could go in a very cool direction. Like the old Monsters and Amazons packs, there could be hero kickers of mixed dice of different races that all follow the same theme: Bards in one kicker, Berserkers, Clerics, etc. They could be packaged like the Eldarim or Dragonkin, with many colors mixed together.

Let's not forget the bagpipes for the dwarves. Any other suggestions for race specific instruments? Just for fun, I think incorporating the effects of musical instruments into the game will add more complexity than it gains in fun factor. Just my 2 coppers worth.

Ooh! Definitely bagpipes for the Dwarves! Drums for the Goblins! (You could have bongos for the commons and big kettle drums for the rares) maybe lutes or dulcimer for the Coral Elves. Harps for the Amazons, Pan-pipes for the Treefolk. Saxophones for the Lava Elves!

The idea of Lava Elves jazzing it out on thair saxophones has me in stitches. That is awesome!

Since I like the idea, here's my list:
- Amazon would be a decent match for a bugle - practical, but not as simple as a horn.
- Coral Elves seem a perfect fit for the lyre. Elegant and yet light.
- Dwarves and bagpipes are a perfect match. They should be well versed with bellow-like instruments.
- Feral have their songbirds. Strictly speaking not a musical instrument, but I'll allow it.
- Fire Walkers are a tough one. I got as far as wind chimes (they don't quite seem the musical sorts).
- Frostwings seem suited for simple horns made from large beasts that roams the frozen wastes.
- Goblins need something simple, and drums certainly fit that bill.
- Lava Elves and saxophones is a thing now. I cannot top that.
- Scalder are another tough one. For some reason I can mostly picture them with something like a violin.
- Swamp Stalkers and... digeridoos? Guitars? I'm having a hard time with this one.
- Treefolk seem like a solid pick for flutes, as they can probably spare a nice branch or two.
- Undead should not be much involved with music, but a bell would be pretty awesome. 'For whom the bell tolls...'

I love these ideas. Swamp Stalkers could have electric guitars, xylophones-- no! Maracas! Very Happy

I think the bell idea for the undead is brilliant.

Is there any room for the "Hurdy-Gurdy" man and his monkey?

Cause Firewalkers are designed to have fun at fighting, I see them with a piccolo flute.

Undead should have bagpipes or church organ playing.
