First things first: I totally stole this idea from eggsaladsandwich. Any credit for the idea goes to him.

I played against him awhile ago, and he was using Scalders. He placed this little plastic token next to his Will o' Wisp to remind him that he had Dispel Magic to roll for. I thought it was brilliant, and made myself a few after pulling a Will o' Wisp last night.

I started with the following images that I compiled from the rules and from Jim Rayborn's work on color swirls. Jim Rayborn deserves a shout out for his terrific work on the color swirls. We may not see eye-to-eye, but he did a fantastic job on these and deserves credit:

Once I had my artwork, I purchased a few of the following:

They are 2" x 2" plastic cases designed to store US Half-Dollar coins. I printed the images to precisely fit inside the cases, cut them out, and snapped them together. Voila!

Each one is actually double-sided. I know you could easily just use a single, universal "Dispel" token, but that wasn't as fun.

You could easily make them larger or smaller by simply getting a larger or smaller coin-holder. You could buy quarter, nickel, or dime holders depending on your preference.

What do you think?

placing the unit on the marker is how I would use them,
they look good. The inks in black might be hard to see in some races...
mabey white on some.

I did a dragon marker once,
although nothing as elaborate.
In a multi player game,
your dragon could get switched by mistake.

They make a free 3d program called blender (also must download the python engine...also free... thank Deeghter for this info),
if you wanted to make swirls similar.

Yeah, I could see that. I will mess around with it later.

Good call! Then you don't lose your dragons in multiplayer games. Hmm.

I am not an artist by any stretch. I just took other people's work and combined it. I couldn't even begin to make any good-looking color swirls.

So you need an Undead Tile for the fend Hound.

Green Glow ink would look cool. Razz

UNDEAD Gravestone

I'm not completely happy with this...
however,
I also don't want to keep you hanging.

If I come up with something better, I'll post it.

I have a look I was striving for.
I had two concepts,
one was a desolate land with fog smoke crossing the surface,
which might make a good land,
the other is a gravestone look...which is this version.

This will have to do for now.
