Does anyone know what this is, whether it's related to Dragon Dice™ and if it's worth anything?

Thanks in advance!

Typically its called the Big Green
Technically it is just a six sided dice that has the TSR logo on it, as the name suggests, it is pretty large as well. I am aware of no direct affiliation this item has with Dragon Dice™, other than the fact that it was produced by TSR and used as one of their promo dice.
I see them every so often and a lot of people do consider them valuable, though I can't say exactly how valuable as that seems to vary quite dramatically.

I think the Dragon Dice™ connection is that it was a giveaway with some product. It might have been in the Battle Box. Chuck will probably chime in with the correct details.

For a while you could buy a "demo" kit for about $10. It had a set of medallions which is why most people were buying them. This die was also included in the set. That's the only connection it has to Dragon Dice™. I've got a half-dozen of them, and they are pretty cool six-sided dice.

Here is what I posted about this die years ago:

shoesan wrote:
It is not part of Dragon Dice™ as a game die, true, but it is part of Dragon Dice™ history. The die was part of the demo kits people could order from TSR to help promote Dragon Dice™. Each kit contained a bronze, silver, and gold medallion, and some other stuff I can't remember, and 1 big green 6-sider, the die the original poster is talking about. I remember seeing people refer to it as the "Big Honkin Green Die"! To my knowledge, the only way to get this die was through these Dragon Dice™ kits... but I could be wrong about that. Maybe there were other ways to get it that I am unaware of. I happen to keep some with my Dragon Dice™ collection as I feel (as a collector) that they have some significance to Dragon Dice™, even if they aren't used in the game.

As far as value, well, its just a big 6-sided die. Its history only adds value to a Dragon Dice™ collector who must have at least one of everything, doesn't already have one, and knows about it in the first place. So I would say the value isn't that high... but you never know about collectors... if the right person can't find one and stumbles across yours...

Huh, never knew they were packaged with the medallions. That is pretty cool
