There are two versions of the Black dragonchamp on the server...

The reason is I renamed the file,
and Cliff already wrote the dll.

I fixed them. The capitalization was not consistent, so I made it consistent. I'll be checking all the rest of the files in the icon folder. They will need to be consistent to work with some new web designs I want to try. Smile

If you are changing capitalization let me know. I'm sure you've seen what I'm doing and I'll have to update my experiment to use the new casing...

Don't worry about me. I've already integrated them into my program.

I'm going to start uploading the artifacts to the server first,
as they have a template already made.

Any update? Did they all get loaded? If so, whats the next one to do?

The images are done for the magic items.
I just need to resize and template them.

Next would be 2 things...
the minor terrain disasters faces....
and also resize in uniform all the minor terrains.

And finish off the dragons....

The present images are all that are needed to play online...
The expanded set will need to have every die, and every face,
and I would think every version would be needed as well.

So it has to be done in phases.

Another thing I wanted to do was to go back and redo the earlier dice...
like the Fireshadow and the Troll....
they were experiments...
I never did replace them with the universal monster template.
As you will see in the Dark troll...
he has been templated...
but this does not keep people from being able to play...

True, the ID's are all you need for online games but you know I'm doing two or three other things for the website (one of which enhances the online games) which require all the faces. so thats why I'm curious on timing for completion.

Click on to see where the sweep is at....

Sweep

The Sweep has begun.

Note:
This is not an error correction sweep...rather a completion sweep.
All faces

There will be an error correction sweep....
but that should not hold back any projects,
as the images will be updated instead of missing.

Ok, I've made some corrections. First of all, the folder for Amazons and Eldarims were the only ones that were plural. So I changed it to be consistent to "Amazon" and "Eldarim". Second, the Treefolk images were in the root rather than in a sub-folder. There is now a Treefolk sub-folder. Third, some Feral were missing. Instead there were some "Dark" Feral. There are now both, but the image is the same. So Jim, you may want to overwrite the non-Dark Feral with a non-Dark image.

Thanks for letting me know about the changes. As soon as we get all the files for the Eldarim in place I'll update my images database.

I'm working on a new UI at the moment (and hoping it'll be cross browser funcational)

Sure, after I've finished writing my addition you go and change things around. Rolling Eyes

Though I did think it was strange that the Treefolk images were at the root instead of their own folder.

Ok, I've made some corrections. First of all, the folder for Amazons and Eldarims were the only ones that were plural. So I changed it to be consistent to "Amazon" and "Eldarim™". Second, the Treefolk™ images were in the root rather than in a sub-folder. There is now a Treefolk™ sub-folder. Third, some Feral were missing. Instead there were some "Dark" Feral. There are now both, but the image is the same. So Jim, you may want to overwrite the non-Dark Feral with a non-Dark image.

I used Amazons...as that is how they are listed in the Starter Rules...
and I did bring up the point that I'm using the Starter Rules as a reference.

I brought all this up long ago...
Eldarim and Treefolk have the trademark tag...
thus if you were to try to type in the code you would also need to know...
™ alt+0135
since that seemed too complicated...
I decided..outloud.... that the Treefolk would be on the Root...
a small pun there...
anyways...
we can do it however it works...
I just don't see any point in explaining myself since nobody is listening ...
seems that a certain former member of the forum,
has convinced everyone that I'm just rambling and wasting people's time.

Anyways... I have no problem with any changes...
right now I'm doing the sweep..
so error correction comes with the territory.

I'm at the Dragons right now....

Ok pay attention now...
I'm not just rambling

Yes the ™ does not need to be added...
but there is a problem...
Eldarim and Treefolk images do not show up in the preview...
however they do show up in the submital.

This might not present a problem for piMaster..
or Cliff...
since they might not be using the BBCode engine to manipulate the images...
but for someone using the SFR forum site...
editing the board will not be fun...
as they will have to submit their changes blindly...
not having any way to see before they post if the Treefolk and Eldarim are positioned correctly.

I spent a long time finding a fix...
and I made it clear for my reasoning.

While the forum code does add a TM to the words: Eldarim and Treefolk, it does not do that if it's part of an image link. It does do that in a URL link. That's a bug, and will get fixed.

I will be going thru the image directory some more. The names of some of the images needs to change. When I can, I'll simply make copies, and leave the old one. For example: the only image of a Dragonlord is "Dragonlord_Clear_Black_Ink.gif". Not too easy if your game needs a Dragonlord to show up. So I'll copy it to a file simply called: "Dragonlord.gif".

I'll post any changes here. Any active boards in active games will be updated as needed.

Ok thanks Chuck...
I might point out,
for game play,
I just put the first round of IDs out there for recreational purpose.
Some names and image version will be rewritten.
I'm happy to see we have some editors.
Right now I'm focusing on the sweep...
which is starting from the top...
and creating all the images in order.
Originally I was creating images as needed.
(The one that people needed for their armies)

The new links are updated with code....
Still need to have the preview bug fixed for the Eldarim and Treefolk.

Even if I post the code for Eldarim and Treefolk...
if copied,
it won't work as the ™ is automatically added.

So in order to see the image... the ™ must be manually deleted.

Code:
[img]http://sfr-inc.com/icon/Eldarim/Green_Dragonmaster.gif[/img]

And even after manually deleteing the ™...the image will only work after submital...
preview shows an X...broken link.
