If you want to play in our sandbox, you must follow a few rules. (Actually, there are only a few rules now. I'm sure more will follow. In fact, feel free to contribute.)

1) This is STEVE and JOE's World, in that order. Don't forget it! Anyone referring to it as JOE and STEVE's World will have their posts exiled to a black hole circling the 7th star in the constellation Bandura, visible on crisp moonless nights from the shores of Tulgesh. Or not-Steve's a procrastinator and will probably never get around to it. (An exception will be made for Joe, but only on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.)

2) All posts must be strictly kept OFF-TOPIC. Any on-topic posts will be reported to Chuck to be moved to a thread far to the north.

3) Anyone without a sense of humor is prohibited from visiting our world. Not that you'd want to anyway.

4) No reading S&JW at work. (Especially you, Cliff!)

5) If Chuck doesn't respond to our posts periodically, we will assume we are being ignored and will hijack a thread from the north until he is forced to send it here.

6) Have fun!

Steve and Joe, Official Court Jesters of Dragon Dice™
Voted "Funniest Posters" by the members of the DDRC
Official Thorns in Chuck's Side
Etcetera, etcetera, etcetera

Hi, this is Joe. I just wanted to say that the above rules should be changed in the following ways:

1) XX XXXXX XX "XXX XXX XXXXX'X XXXXX," XXX "XXXXX XXX XXX'X XXXXX." XXXX XX XXXX!

2) XXX XXX XXX XXXXX XXXXXX XXX XXXXX XXXX.

3) XXX'X XXXX XXX Steve is a genius XXXXXXX X'X XXXXXX XXX XXXXXX!

Make the above corrections on your official rules.

Actually, this is Joe's World, where Steve is a frequent visitor. Please refer to it as such.

Really, we'll send them to Canada.

Nobody like that plays Dragon Dice™. At least I hope not.

Can't add much more to this except, why is Cliff playing on the internet when he should be working?

Or we may just do it anyway.

OK, just humor Joe occasionally. He has to do what the little voices tell him to do anyway.

(OK, I have a button with a similar sentiment hanging behind my computer, so I guess it cuts both ways.)

Excuse me, but I always do what my Rice Crispies tell me to do.

New rule:

7. Don't mess with S&JW! Anyone caught defacing, hacking, stuffing, mutilating, or hijacking our threads-in short, behaving in our world the way we behave on the rest of the forum-will be subject to having their posts mercilessly answered with withering sarcasm, biting irony, and other forms of obnoxious ripostes.

Then again, nobody would notice the difference.

New Rule:

Anyone daring to even try shall be blasted down with belittling replies that shall humiliate you and leave you the subject of much laughter and ridicule. You shall flee into the upper north forum, never to return lest you come under fire from our blistering wit again.

Seriously, all are welcome in our playground, but don't try to break the toys we leave lying around.

I'd just deface you from afar. Notice the new title Joe has. I know Steve will be jealous. Too bad Steve, you bought your title fair and square. Shocked

What can I say? I suppose rank has its privileges-or is that being rank has its privileges?

A class action lawsuit has been filed on behalf of the aforementioned rank people with priviledges, who seek damages of either $100 billion gillion or a wad of chewing gum from the bottom of a Furr's cafeteria table. To this end, my clients would like it to be known that being rank does not mean they should be shunned but rather have their problem acknowledged, which is they play too much Everquest or World of Warcraft. Furthermore, it may or may not be true they can assemble enough money together to persuade Chuck there is a place further south. As a matter of fact, some of my best friends are rank as well as my mother. To insult the priviledged and unpriviledged rank peoples would be to insult my heritage.
