I'll take the double saves. Leave terrain at 5 this turn.

So on the next turn, if I choose to take a March at this terrain, I roll the minor first. Then I can decide if I want to Maneuver (and we roll if you oppose). Then I take action based on minor if applicable or on Major.

So when there is no terrain, bringing in the terrain is the maneuver not the up or down. And then on that turn, I could act upon whichever action was available to me if the minor terrain provided a second combat option.

Is that it?

So now for my Second March I could bring in a minor terrain and roll it (since my Maneuver would be unopposed). If it provided me a Magic combat option I could then roll for Magic otherwise I have no combat options and I move to retreat/reinforce?

Though I don't know if you've got the exact terminology correct, you certainly have the right ideas in mind. This is indeed how it all would work out.

OK...

Second March:

I Maneuver unopposed at the Frontier and bring in a Knoll. I roll the Knoll and get Double Saves.

Since we're at Missile for combat there, I can take no further action.

I do nothing for reinforce/retreat.

I used the DD Inventory Dice Roller for this - I like its functionality, but it will be too much of a distraction from work...I would just play all day. Laughing

A pair of questions...

1. The Minor Death has an SAI of "Slay" in the description it only lists it being as a result for Melee. There is no reference to a Dragon attach. So I presume the Slay does nothing against a dragon.
2. In as much as Undead have no Missile units, they could fire at a Missile terrain, but be limited only to results from ID Icons, correct?

Be home in about 5 hours to respond to your next unless I'm driven to DDI for rolling...curse it. Wink

I believe you are correct on both accounts. See, you're getting the hang of this rules-thing!

Result: 6 saves. 5 Wardog Riders get sent to reserves (Open Graves).

Counterattack:



Result: 10 melee!


Every time I play with a lot of commons, I expect to have the numbers balance out the randomness a bit. And yet, it never feels like this really happens. Weird.

Yes, yes I did.

I actually had originally counted out three Zombie for the DUA and somehow as I was contemplating the "submit" button, my brain (at near 4am) said oh yeah..."double saves".

So skip that double saves thing and send my three Zombies to the DUA.

I presume that you meant open grave for your army at My Home, not the Frontier...
