I ask because it was conspicuous by its absence.

You specifically mention that the units lost to the regular melee damage go to Reserves via Open Grave.

So if I'm reading Stoneskin rule correctly, those units do go to DUA rather than Reserves, correct?

Smite sends the units to the DUA because "no saves (including those provided by spells)" can stop its damage. Open Grave is considered a form of magical saves (as stated in the stoneskin rule). Since stoneskin will protect against normal melee damage, open grave will as well. Since stoneskin won't protect against smite, open grave won't either.

magic action.
Roll: 15 magic icons, Cantrip
Cast: 4x Finger of Death to kill a Rakshasa, Spark of Life to bring back a Footman Zombie. (Illusion only protects the army, not the individual units within it).

Second march in reserve.
magic action.
Rolled: 1 ID

Reserve phase:
The units currently in reserve goto the frontier. The units at Diggity's home retreat to reserve. Pony Rider and Zombie at my home retreat to reserve.

I end my turn.

Yes, but a Temple does protect the army and it's units from black magic. So the Fingers of Dead can't kill a Rakshasa.

You only had four points of magic, so you can only summon one health worth of dragonkin.
You need to change your home terrain to face 6.

Also, you need to remove the text in your home army that says the cryohydra has a burning hands since you changed that.

Anyway, I'll just assume you are using the magic from your first march to summon a dragonfoal and I'll start my turn.

City: recruit Pony Rider.
First march at my home.
magic action.
Rolled: 5 magic icons, Cantrip, Cantrip
Cast: Open Grave on my army at the frontier, Burning Hands on my Footman at the frontier, Summon Black Dragonfoal.

Second march at frontier.
Attempt to maneuver. Do you wish to counter?
Laughing
Obviously you will, so
Rolled: 1 maneuver icon, 3 ID = 4 maneuver results
In the unlikely envent I win, turn the terrain down to face 7.
In any event, I'll take a melee action.

I don't remember that being there originally. Did you add it with your edit?

Actually, I'd prefer that you make a new post instead of editing a prior post. One, I might not see that is has changed or how much as changed, two it makes it harder to follow the game's flow because things are being done out of posting order (this last round being a good example of that).

In any event, adding that would change some of the things I did during my last turn. The changes wouldn't affect the general outcome, just a few things get changed during my magic action.
