oh ok, I moved him.

I will maneuver up to 7 (this could be a good idea or a disaster... )
Action: Melee action... (could really backfire.., hope it doesn't)
Melee result:
Dragonlord - sneak attack (normal melee result) = 4
Green disciple - 4 melee X 2 (burning hands) = 8
Red Bodyguard - ID = 3
Total = 15

Save roll:
Body guard - 4 saves = 4
Disciple - ID = 3
Racer - ID = 3
Total = 10
enough to save.

I also rolled smite, how does that work? It says during a melee avoidance roll it generates melee results..
not sure what that means.. what is a melee avoidance roll?

my heart was beating fast on that roll... whew

First march: magic action with army at your home terrain
magic result:
Dragonlord - ID = 4 x2
Green Sorcerer -3 magic = 3
Total = 8 gold and 3 green
I will cast path (gold, basic 4) 2 times
and move my dragonlord and black disciple to the frontier

with the 3 green magic I will cast wall of ice (green basic, 3)
which gives +3 save and will cast it on the frontier army.

Second march: Frontier army
I will maneuver
maneuver result:
palsy -3
Dragonlord #1- 4 fly = 4
Dragonlord #2- ID = 4
Green racer - 3 maneuver = 3
Total = 8

well it was fun. and I've learned some things which will be useful to know.

thanks for the games.

For a couple of days (say until monday) I won't be able to play again, but maybe I can work on the army meanwhile, if you 'd like we may have another match then (after the weekend)

Good game. That was very close. Back there if you had rolled one more magic and cast an extra palsy I would have lost.

danilo, there is a spell that I think you have overlooked. Instead of casting 3 Palsies (which gave chrisbogert's army a -3), you could have cast Restless Dead (x2) which would have given your army +8 on maneuvers. That would have been huge there at the end.
