I only have 3 swamp minor terrain dice..
Don't have that many. Figured I'd try swamps since that is the terrain I have most minor terrains for.
Although I didn't know I could start with 4. Thanks.

Which army are you targeting with missile?

I have no chance in the second march, unsurprisingly.

Death Winged Sandals - 1 Maneuver
Death Winged Sandals - 2 Maneuver

So: 18 Saves, including 4 volley

Volley: Normal (missile, save, or dragon attack); Normal and Special (save against missile) - During a missile action or missile avoidance roll, Volley generates missile results. During a save roll, Volley generates save results. During a save roll in a missile action, Volley generates both save results and immediate missile results upon the attacking army. Only magical saves protect against this damage. During a dragon attack, Volley generates save and missile results.

so 4 damage to your army from Volley.

Actually no. Poison does not affect dragons:
Quote:
Poison: Special (melee attack)
During a melee attack, choose one health-worth of units in the defending army per Poison result generated. Each target unit must immediately generate a save or be killed. Any units that are killed must roll a save or be buried.
Compare that to Smite:
Quote:
Smite: Special (melee attack); Normal (dragon attack or melee avoidance)
During a melee attack, each Smite result immediately inflicts one point of damage on the defending army or unit; no saves (including those provided by spells) can stop this damage. During a dragon attack or melee avoidance roll, Smite generates melee results
So if it's a "Special (melee attack)" SAI, and does not have anything about a dragon attack, then it does not work during a dragon attack. Of course if it's "Normal (melee)", then it does melee any time, including a dragon attack.

Oh ok, got it, so if the SAI has no mention of what to do in a dragon attack it won't be usable in a dragon attack

Well with the belly, still enough to take care of them both.
