The title says it all!!!
My Spookies feel the urge for REVENGE!!! Twisted Evil

Same rules as in our last game, Steve, but I've changed the setup a little. Let's see how they do this time!?

If you don't have your army ready yet, don't read any further!

My setup:

Home: Swampland City
Frontier: Standing Stones
Minors: 2x Swampland Village, 2 x Coastland Village
Home Army: 1x Apparition
Campaign Army: 1x Minor Death (M), 2x Vampire (R), 2x Heucuva (UC), 1x Revenant (UC), 1x Apparition (C), 1x Skeleton
Horde Army: 1x Mummy (R), 3 x Spectre (UC), 1 x Heucuva, 2x Apparition (C), 1x Skeleton (C), 3x Wraith
Dragons: 2x Black Wyrm
Dragonkin (all black): 1x Dragon Steed (R), 1 x Dragonhero(UC), 5 x Dragontroop, 2 x Dragonscout[/b]

OK, here's my setup-this one should give your guys a real chance to do some stomping!

Home: 2 Enchanters, 2 Conjurers, 7 Evokers
Horde: 1 Evoker
Campaign: 2 Sharpshooters, 2 Archers, 8 Bowmen

Home terrain: Coast Tower
Proposed frontier: Coast City
Dragons: 2 Blue Wyrms
Dragonkin: Going to experiment here a little: 1 Blue Dragonspy, 1 Green Dragonsentry, 4 Green Dragonscouts, 3 Blue Dragonscouts
Minors: 2 Coast Woods, 2 Swamp Woods

Roll your horde. If it's more than 1, you win. Smile

Ready, steady, GO! Razz

Roll, roll: --> Horde get's a Spectre ID and 3 Spectre feet! Not a milennium roll but enough to win the initial maneuver roll!

I choose my Swampland Standing Stones as frontier terrain and you may have the first turn!
(It took quite a while to come to a decision here! Rolling Eyes )

Rolling my terrains:

--> Frontier stops at 2, magic. How nice!

--> My home stops at 6, melee!

Perfect start! Mr. Green

Hi Steve! Why are you not playing your flaunt it army? I would like to see that army in action.

Hi Dieter! If you want some tables for your game I can eMail you the code (at the beginning of each new forum page). (I will not post a table without asking, otherwise I would feel as a bystander who gives unwanted comments; Maybe you (or Steve) want to write the code by yourself.)

Thanks, Andreas, but we can easily copy the code from your other posts, "just" have to exchange the pics.

To be honest, if someone wants to follow the game in detail, then he's twice as fast in putting the dice on his table at home than me creating those tables every few turns! Embarassed
And he just have to do it once in the beginning! Twisted Evil

I like your idea and appreciate your efforts, I'm just not happy with creating those tables Embarassed . It takes me too long.

I'm sorry!

Maybe somebody would volunteer for sort of table-creator for the forum games?? Rolling Eyes

You misunderstood me. I would create the entire table (including all the pics and text). To write this code I need just minutes. I suggested to email you the complete table just if you want to change something. It would be also possible that I post it directly but then you cannot edit it.
Maybe it's better to wait for that PHP-project. Cliff eventually will bring out some sort of tool for the playing board.

That would be great!! Razz
Thank you very much!! You can post it directly, if you like! If you thoroughly re-check it before posting, why would we like to edit it?? Very Happy Very Happy

Thanks a lot for your offer, that's just great. How can you manage that in a few minutes?? Surprised
Depending on the amount of dice and movements (changes) it takes me at least half an hour including tabbed browsing, quick copy etc....

Well, I know how to do it but I'm not trained Laughing ! I have to recheck the pic positions too often. Embarassed

I'll leave it to the professionals Wink Very Happy !

Not a bad start-for you.

Rolling my home...2 Missile. That would be good IF my campaign army were there...

As they watch the fearsome Undead approach, the Selumari™ try to run away at home.

Attempting to maneuver my home...

6 boats=6

Oppose?

Yes, I oppose!

Roll, roll --> You'd be torn apart if this was a melee attack, but since my Undead are busy running after your Corals..... --> 3 maneuvers!

That was unexpected-but I'm not complaining. Smile

Enchanter Aalard leads his troops away from the maraudering dead. They call for magic, and mana wafts over them. Lightning sizzles toward the frontier, while winds back the archers there.

Turn the terrain down to 1, magic. Rolling for magic...

6 wands, Enchanter and Conjurer ID=16 after doubling.

Wind Walk my frontier army. Lightning Strike the two Vampires at the frontier.

Resolve the spells.

I tried to oppose but with only 3 maneuvers from a Vampire ID it didn't lead to success! Undead snails!!! Laughing Laughing

Wow, Deeghter, you have absolutely no luck at all!

Sharpshooter Danale pushes his troops a little closer to the Undead. They fire a volley, while Danale aims two arrows right at a pair of Heucuvas.

Turn terrain to 3 Missile and shoot at your army right across from me at the frontier...

4 Bullseye, 5 bows, Archer and 2 Bowman IDs. I'll target the two Heucuvas with the Bullseyes, then 9 incoming.

Yep! And it slowly but surely p.... me off! The best army is no use with rolls like that! I'm very patient in games and always take it humorous, but my dice are certainly pushing limits!!!Evil or Very Mad

Well, at least I'll enter DD history as the most unlucky but most honest online player!! Some consolation that is! Mr. Green

As far as unlucky is concerned: They're both pincushioned! The Heucuvas look pretty similar to my Behemoth design now Laughing Laughing Laughing !

**plopp**...."Ouch!".....**plopp**....."Ouch!".....**plopp**.......
(Heucuvas removing the arrows from their butts!)

Both Heucuvas toddle off, heading for the DUA.

Roll, roll (have you ever seen an army consisting of hundreds of fighters rolling on the floor before attacking or saving??? This is a strange game Laughing Laughing) --> Vampire ID (again! I like that Lady Very Happy) and 4 shields from Minor Death = 7.

Skeleton and Apparition hurry to catch up with the Heucuvas. The one who's first gets the prettiest tombstone, you know!! Wink

Skeleton and Apparition are taken as casualties and are sent to the DUA, too.

That is true. I've beaten better armies with lucky rolls, and been killed by worse armies with lucky rolls. That's why we play dice games-so we can blame our rolls, rather than our army construction skills.

Stunned by their success, the Selumari™ hold their positions, except for the lone Evoker in their horde, who hightails it back to reserves as fast as possible!

Evoker from horde retreats. Done.

Not enough this time, Steve! I got IDs from the Mummy, Spectre and Wraith plus 3 feet from second Spectre! That's a total of 9.

Bringing in Minor Coastland village.
Rolling minor --> Magic! That helps a lot! Laughing

Rolling Horde for magic: --> Spectre, Skeleton and Wraith IDs, additionally I got 2 icons from Apparition: IDs doubled via my DUA = total 10.

I cast 1 x Haunt on my DUA!
My dead Undead become undead Undead and form a deadly Undead army to bring death to your not yet dead home army!!! Twisted Evil Laughing (Say that three times very fast and you'll have a knot in you tongue!! Laughing Laughing )
1 point expires unused.

Rolling for melee: --> Nice! That's what they can!! 11 scythes from Vampire, both Heucuvas and Apparition! Well, no Convert, but well....don't wanna be picky with a roll like that!! Razz

Defend yourselfs, blue skinned fish heads!! Har, har, har!!! Twisted Evil

The Selumari™ mages flee for their lives. An Enchanter manages to place a wall of ice between many and the Undead, but they still suffer some damage.

Rolling...1 ID, 4 boats, and a Cantrip. Call up a Wall of Ice for a total of 8 saves. A Conjurer and an Evoker go to the DUA.
