Yes, that's it for this (your) turn. Now you can go ahead with your 2 marches and reserve phase as usual. Dragons will attack again at the beginning of your next turn if you are still at that terrain, then.

I'm sorry, but I have cast three Ashstorms, two in my first march and one in my second march. That means you have to subtract 3, leaving you with 2 magic points.

looks like one of my paper markers must have blown away. Then no wind wall and ashes to ashes removes spider rider.

I rolled 4 fly from a magi

Rolling for magi:
2 points from a magi
3 points of id from vindicator doubled via my dua for a total of 8

I use 6 to cast open grave on my home army.

OK, just to confirm: The only spell which is active at the moment is your Open Grave, right? My Ashstorms expire now!

1st March:
Rolling my home for magic:
--> Lizard Rider ID only, doubled via terrain = 4

2 x Ashstorm on your home terrain

2nd March:
Rolling for magic at the frontier:
---> 2 Lizard Rider IDs, 2 Scorpion Knight IDs = 8

Ahh, OK, you noticed.

Well, that leaves me with 8 magic points.

I take the four from the Scorpion Knights in black and double them via your DUA = 8 black
I cast 2 x Finger of Death on a Magus at your home terrain.

The rest from the Lizard Riders in red, doubling via terrain = 8
I cast Dancing Lights on your Campaign at the frontier terrain and use the remaining 2 points to cast another Ashstorm (the third) on your home terrain.

I stay put, I'm done, ending my turn.

Rolling Wyrms:
Wyrm 1: --> Belly!
Wyrm 2: --> Tail, Breath

Magi and defender roll for saves or go to the bua:
Defender saves. Magi is removed from game.

Magus is killed by tail.

Now defender and Magus go to the dua.

Magi to the bua

If you choose them as casualties for the Dragon Breath (which is resolved first, with no saves possible), then they simply roll for saves just to prevent being buried. It looks like you've rolled them twice?? Anyway, in both rolls the Defender saved but the Magi didn't. But in your first roll you could have used the Cantrip to cast spells since it was a non-maneuver avoidance roll!
So let's forget about your second save roll and you can use the Cantrip before the Magi is removed from the game, okay? Smile (It was the first roll, so that's the one that counts).

Yes, Magus is in your Reserves, but the Defender couldn't have been protected by the Open Grave since the Dragon Breath targets and affects five health worth of units. So it's a unit-targeting effect, not an army targeting effect. The Defender goes to your DUA. Same with the Magi! He's not protected by Open Grave!

You've done that perfectly right, Magi is removed from the game!

What about the "death-fingered" Magus? It should be gone, leaving the terrain without any of your units, right?

He is also in the reserves since open grave was in effect when you cast him right?

I will roll for maneuver at the frontier terrain at the frontier as well do you wish to oppose?

Just corrected my post above!! The Defender affected by the Dragon Breath must go to the DUA since he couldn't be protected by Open Grave just like the Magi (due to unit-targeting effect).

Again Finger of Death is a unit-targeting effect, there-fore Open Grave doesn't protect and the "death-fingered" Magus is sent to your DUA, not the reserves.
Open Grave only protects against army-targeting effects.

You still have the four magic points from your Cantrip left! Use them, otherwise it would be a waste! Smile

After that I will counter-maneuver at the frontier terrain.

Well, my counter-maneuver doesn't look that bad, I got 5 maneuvers from two Lizard Riders (doubled in Highlands = 10) plus 3 maneuvers from Scorpion Knight and Fly on Dragon Lord. Total: 17
