I wouldn't say the game was over just yet. There is still a chance that Cliff can take out two (or all) of the Gorgons at Jim's home. In any case, if Dan gets zero maneuvers at both terrains, Jim can win. Even if he doesn't get zero maneuvers, by the time you bring back units from reserves, it becomes an uphill battle by Dan. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

BTW I kept the owls there cause I'm not really paying attention and because I wanted the dispel... that sounds like a good excus... i mean reason right?
ok, one army. six targets.
The unknown is where Jim will send his reserves...
I really don't want to give the game to either Dan or Jim... so I have to be careful not to let either win...
I can either tell you why my actions are a good idea, or I can just let you think I'm doing it randomly...
Missile from the frontier into the swampland city at the lone monster.
ok, before I roll I'll tell you why.
I really only have two targets. The one Chuck suggested and the one I'm really missiling. If I missile the three monsters then I'm afraid I'll kill none. or even if I kill one or two, I'm giving Jim the opportunity to split his reserves and win two maneuvers.
if I target the single monster I'm almost sure to kill it and that will force Jim to move to a single terrain. I'm putting my faith that he will stop Dan's 3 monsters allowing me to have another turn.
only the rolls will prove me right or wrong.

It's even more interesting than you may think.... Cliff could have choose to only Seize one-health. So the Seize would not effect the monster at all. Then it would have to save against 4 missile. But given that a Gorgon has only a 10% chance to save against Seize (and in any case is no longer at the terrain), and has a 30% chance to save against 4 missile, his choice makes sense... _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Rolling for a Magic Action at Flatlands 8th Face Tower:
Gorgon (Chico): Flame SAI = 0 magic

That looks like that's going to give me the game.

Just for kicks, I looked over my posted rolls to look at the statistics (including rolls that did not count and were corrected).
Out of 148 rolls throughout this game, this was the statistics:
ID icon = 21
Flame SAI = 26
Shield = 29
Foot = 72
What the probably would have predicted was:
ID icon = 14.8
Flame SAI = 29.6
Shield = 29.6
Foot = 74
