Ok at Windy City Bone Rollers...if you lose the most games ...or something like that...you then get the honor of selecting the next month's format.
I spent too much energy thinking about the format last month...that I did not spend enough time making a better army.
So to eliminate the problem,
I'm pre announcing my format...
with the newly devised...Army Race Selecto-matic
here's how it works.
Take a commons from all 13 races...make sure you include a dragonkin.
Since the Acolytes have not been released yet...
the dragonkin will represent the Eldarim Race.
Then roll all 13 dice...
the IDs that result will determine which races you will create your army with.
I'm also allowing the addition of Magestorm, Kings' Die, hybrids....
basically standard 36 health.
50% magic
So then make a second army...with a totaly new roll.
1 ID results in a Single race army
no Ids results in a reroll
if you roll several Ids...you will have a multi race army..
OK that's it.
So now I can focus of Playing the game. |

Gumball Variation:
This is another way to select your race....
or races.
They make novelty gumball or nut dispensers ...some out of wood.
This has a slot large enough to allow a common unit to fit.
So fill the nut dispenser with commons from every race...
inclue dragonkin to represent eldarim until the acolytes are available.
Then,
simply turn the crank...
and as many races as you want in your army...select that many units. |

D20 Health Selector:
When creating an army choose a race...
roll the D20...
that much health is in your army...
next choose another race...
magestorm can be a selection....
roll the D20
add that much health of the selected...
care should be taken in choosing 50% magic..
when the D20 produces more health than the set amount of health for the army...stop rolling.
Now, whatever the extra health is...remove that amount form any race...or magic items.
The D20 could be used to determine which race as well...
just number your races and magestorm incrementally..
if the die produces a number off the chart...just reroll. |
