Just had the chance to beat up on my local rep with a black and blue acolyte army. All I can say is I think I'm going to enjoy the Acolytes very much...especially them 2pt mages all with 4pt,3 pt and 2pt(ID) facets, they really generate magic quite well.I was able to keep my entire army out of the dua while simultaneoulsy eradicating first an all Amazon army, then an all Frostwing army.Granted, my 2 "tundra" dragons (black/blue hybrids) helped quite a bit with their breaths.

I also had fun with "Rise of the Eldarim"...promoting a common to a rare many times.
I used a Earth/Fire Eldarim army and a Coral elf/Air Eldarim army.
The Rare mages stood tough with their wings(Fly) and were able to maintain the 8th face when attacked. |
