Good day to you all. I'm a feral/goblin player and find that I tend to horde
my armies to an 8th face and then through just mass rolls, basically no strat. just barbarian hulk type over powered smashing of undead players (skawilly)
I hold the 8th face and then mindlessly path to glory.
Specifically ferals are good at this but can they win without things like hording and pathing?  |

I've been talking to your opponent, so I may as well talk to you too.
There are three types of attack: magic, melee, missile.
Only Magic can attach reach your opponent anywhere, so instead of pathing to a victory, try hailstorm or lightening him to death.
Missile can reach everywhere except reserves, so build a missile army and let those arrows fly!
Melee can only attack those at your terrain, so if he runs away you will have to entice him to bring the fight to you. You can do that by splitting your army in half and turning two terrains up. I play Feral/Goblin all the time. The nice thing about them is with the right units, you can just out-maneuver most anything. Add some Wind Walks or add some Transmute Rock to Mud on your opponent, and you don't even need the maneuvers.
And after you kill your opponent's units, don't forget to bury them with Dust to Dust. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

| True gentlemen, magic and missile are good alternatives, but don't feral fail at magic, also what do you guys think of heavy melee should they even be thought of or just stick to more calv.,light melee,missile........ |

Feral fail at magic? Are you kidding? Ask anyone that has played against me, if Feral fail at magic. They have some of the best spells around. Ok, maybe they have a couple less icons of magic than some races. I never have a problem generating enough magic from them. They don't need much. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

| I'm not meaning to dis the Feral magic I just read somewhere that they were weak in that area. Thank you for putting up with a newbies folly you guys have been a great help. |
