Apparently he does....

And even though he doesn't state it, those are reprints not original TSR.

I've got it on my watch list. I'm sure it won't sell for $1,000...but when he relists it he may do so for a more reasonable BIN price.

Although I have no use for an Unseelie other than collectibility; it would be nice if my current Inferno had a friend. Wink

What makes the Unseelie so good in game terms. I mean I know its rare as is the inferno.

While the Unseelie is one of the best monsters for magic, it's still a monster, and therefore a bit too random to be useful. It's mostly it's collectibility that has the price so high. Only one out of 60 kickers (on the average) have one.

It was one of the insane decisions that TSR made. While it could be fixed by making a new mold, molds are expensive, and there is a lot of debate about current collectors being upset if the rarity changes.

BTW, the most insane decision made was making the Magi and Inferno ultra-rare. Those are very useful dice, and should not be so hard to get.

Yeah i was surprised when my friend who i just introduced to the game cracked an inferno on the first kicker he got for scalders. Yeah TSR made alot or errors Id Love a Magi for my Frostwing brutes haha.

Yeah i totally understand not making new molds. Best do that for new types of dice anyway.

Aside from the cost of creating new molds, would it be impossible/unacceptable to make, say, a different set of rares for each race?

Of course the cost is always a concern, but barring that, I had some thoughts about some cool new ideas.

Stormy i have been toying with the idea with racial champions. Much like the champions for the eldarim and the dragon kin. Legendary characters from each race.

I also like the idea of racial magic items. Like Items of lore and artifacts they would be the color of their respective race.

Racial Champions are an old idea that actually comes from the TSR days (they were never made). We have talked about them, and there are some ideas from the early SFR days. Big problem is that it would mean 12 new molds. We can't afford that all at once, and on the other hand, not sure how to bring out the product a little at a time (as opposed to all at once).

It's not a dead project, but it's just not ready for a lot of reasons.

Ahh I figured my idea wasn't original lol. But yeah i can see how making twelve new molds would be expensive.

What if we made new runs of the first 12 races, but each with a different color combo from their original combo? Coral Elves in Lava Elf Colors and vice versa. Dwarves in Goblin colors and vice versa... etc. Then, everyone would have to buy all 12 races again to collect them all.

OK, maybe not... but it sounded cool...

and before anyone asks, yes we've also looked at injection as an option and the cost per die is about 1000% too much just yet...

he also has another auction where he sells 4 Star Trek dice game, two of wich are very hard to find (to the extent that people doubt they were even printed), and they are sealed! I don't know their value, but you won't see many more of them on ebay. This is the first time I see them, the first time I see a picture of the sealed packages that is and the first time I see them on ebay; and I know of this game from 2005.

one man, two crazy dice auctions; if only money was no object...
