I can't believe we forgot to discuss this!
MissTiffany won the worst army with an assortment of Acolyte common shield bearers.
After I thought about it some, I figured this would be the design for the winner of that event, so if we do it again we would either have to remove that race or limit the design (similar to single race limitations)
I know that everyone who played 'again' MissTiffany was VERY VERY annoyed with trying to do anything with that army. However, other than that. What did everyone think of that event?
Is it worth repeating next year or would you like to replace it with something like Multi-player etc?
Note: I am planning on holding an extra constructed even Saturday at the same time as Worlds. Due to poor attendance I could even consider retiring or renaming that event. I think that the name scares people off and we don't have a ton of competative players right now, we have a lot of casual players who don't want the stress... _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

I suggest a "Constructed Starter" event. The army consists of two races, each of 18-health armies of the same distribution as a 2-player starter army (1 x monster, 1 x rare, 3 x uncommon, 5 x common - no duplicate dice) with any two white-inked terrains and any two mono-color and/or ivory dragons. This would be an event the newer players could easily get into with even a limited collection of dice, but still challenging for the experienced players.
I've had this as a standard event at DEXCON and DREAMATION for a while, and this event, plus the Single Race, attract the newer players that are looking for intermediate level, but are not ready for Advanced Rules and want an event that offers a more even playing field. _________________ Daniel Burkley

I was thinking recently about a "worst army" construction. I was thinking shield bearers from eldarim would be a great addition to that... Guess it's already been done, though. I would like to participate in one of those type of tournaments at some point. _________________ Collection |

Dragon Dice usually does not restrict dice or ban dice...
Unlike MTG...
copy cats on the worst army?
I'm sure there is a certain pride on making your own worst army, so I think it (army construction) should be left open.
Actually the run and hide army is one of my favorites of Cliff's...
congrats Tiffany!! |
