oh, a new race to play against.
You can't tell exactly what it is entering the ring with you. it doesn't look like a gladiator so much as the flotsam and jetsam leftover after a bloody battle is swept into a pile.
Your perspective finally changes and you recognize the rolling mongrel stinger bush! You can still see the oozing stitches were it was so recently sewn together.

If you saw my other initative roll, it was no where as large.
So frost stinger and I'll go ahead and minus the death stinger (since you are immune) and I'll do the fire Potion since I don't need it yet.

yeah, I was worried after not getting a decent first attack... My luck only the death stinger will hit you

Actually, your death stinger is not useless. I'm immune to its poison, but not to the stinger itself. If it got thru, I would still take the initial stun damage, but the poison part would have no effect (though you would still lose the stinger). |

It's gonna be hard to test the change in Stinger if none of them ever land!
two Bucklers are minused, if I grabbed the wrong one I'm sorry. I don't have all the breeds memorized and don't have time to look them up and it doesn't matter anyway.

Well, considering that your daemon consists of:
49% minuses
10% pluses
15% deflects
5% regenerates
20% hits
It is not too surprising that you're not getting many hits on me. |

any two stingers with potion and the plus (it won't matter) plus a mongrel for a third stinger.
Defend:
I suffer all six points of stun and wound, which are my six of my body parts and leave me with only one body part, which your Death ability will minus.
So I'll save you the need to roll again. I lost before we began.
SO... I don't see that making this change to the buckler makes it too weak (not that I ever rolled it) and the Shield is the same change.
I probably need to play a game with the Shell to tell.
The Stinger I can't tell because I didn't hit one, but if i HAD. Would it be that horrible if I'd recovered it?

Horrible? No. If you want to make it harder to recover but not wounded, how about making it frost stunned?

Perhaps. It is one of the first dice I look to add since it is good defense and offense. You could make the arm a choice of stun or grab.
If you want to try it again, you could tweak your daemon and I could bring something else. |

well, you are always going to bring a defensive build because thats what you do.
