Okay, I have a concept army I want to try out!

So, 36 h, single race + items + promos [1-3 say, not Scott's army Jim is using....eeeek!], 50 % magic value or less. The allowance of promos, such as Eldarim is the reason for the "Quasi-" in the subject.

Multiple player is fine, but I'd prefer only 2-4 people total.

I propose the optional rule of a +1 result bonus [limited to the same type of result of course] to 2h and 3h items (if you don't like this, but want to play anyway, I can do without it, just let me know)

As soon as I got a response(s) I'll post up my army, entitled: "Doom Missile" (which should give you a hint where this one is going.... Wink )

Well, it's not the same format as the tournament Single Race, but I'll give it a go since no one else seems interested.

Give me a day or so to build an army.

As far as the ghost points on the magical items, I would vote no.

LOL! Yep, close at least as I mentioned. I didn't think I could pull this off as well without the caveats as you'll probably see as soon as I post the army.

Fine on the no ghost bonus to items, they are as they stand then. It just makes a small difference in my construction in terms of proportions.

I'll post my army up when I get home this evening, just to make sure I don't screw up the details by relying on my memory.

Unless anyone else wants in soon, it looks like this'll be a rematch as well Wink

Wow! I can't believe I forgot that part. Sure why not, I wanted to bend the extent of "single-race" alittle, so taking that logic to its natural conclusion means: dragonkin and minors as well. I'll add them to my army when I post it as well.

Set up? No, but you had already announced that you had a missile army with items in it. If I had really wanted to shut your missile army down, I would have brought Scalders. However, I brought Dwarves because I haven't played them in long time (years perhaps).

Horde roll: 3 Trample, 4 points of ID, and 2 maneuver icons. 9 maneuver results total. I'll go first, so you get to choose the frontier.

1st march: campaign army
attempt to maneuver (roll) 2 maneuver icons and 3 points of ID=5 maneuver results. Since the most you can get is one, I'll turn the terrain down and missile your horde army.

(roll) 4 points of ID=4 missile results.

2nd march: horde army
attempt to maneuver (roll) 3 Trample and 4 points of ID=7 maneuver results.

Bringing in minor terrain (roll) ID. I'll choose any action.
Casting magic (roll) 1 point of ID, 4 Cantrip, 6 magic icons. I'll take the ID as gold. Casting Path (move Skirmisher from frontier to my horde army) and summon a gold wyrm to the frontier.

Reserve phase:
Moving all units from my home terrain and the frontier to reserve.

I end my turn.

As my wife is fond of saying: You're not my favorite friend right now.

Take four pony riders for smite.
(roll) Cantrip, 5 points of ID, 2 save icons. Resolving Cantrip to cast 2 Stoneskins on my army. 7-1+2=8 save results. Skirmisher and Mammoth Rider goto DUA.

No counter attack.

LOL! Quite funny, but I'm sorry to have earned it the hard way...d4 can be deadly...

(in an RPG with exploding dice [rerolling max], I once did 34 damage with a single torch [d4 dmg w/ my mage] Twisted Evil )

My whole horde army except the Spectre goes into the reserves taking all the items into reserves with them. (still at your home: 1 x Spectre)
