Would anyone be interested in a WYSIWYG tool for generating bbcode to post in forum games?

Yes, I'm interested.
Brad has developed a nice table with BBcode.

I've tried a few editors,
but they all seemed to be code based.

I would like to try to find an editor that would allow a person to work
using sprites, and drag and drop the sprites on the table.
I could learn the BBcode and edit the code,
but that seems too meticulous.
In game play,
if a person could move the sprites, (images of the dice)
to the various positions on a table,
and then generate the BBcode,
that would be perfect. Cool

I've seen a copy of PIMaster's and it is what I would term 'CoderWare', I write the same type of programs all the time. Written by a Coder, for a Coder. I just want to make it clear that I like the software.

That being said, it's interface is where it could be improved the most. I was thinking some nice filtered list boxes for everything, but the next logical step is drag-n-drop.

Let me do some research. I saw some example code of a drag-n-drop interface on a webapp the other day. It wasn't PHP and I think the library wasn't free, but let me check it out in further detail.

I won't promise anything, but I can always write something as a proof of concept for work.

Thanks Cliff. I wrote it for my own use. If I were to write something for general release, the interface would be cleaned up a bit. Rolling Eyes

Just an observation: Using black for the background color is probably not a good idea because some dice (like Undead and black Eldarim) would not show up well against it.
Good luck! Cool

My latest idea is to add a URL link to each die.
The URL will function in 2 ways,
first it will provide the name of the die when you scroll over the die,
(look at the bottom of the web page, it will show the name)
and if you click on the die, it will show the different sides of the die.

Take a look at the Ghost above to see what I am talking about.

With this new addition, I feel it will really provide the reader or player
with additional information to watch or play a game. Cool

Good idea. That means if there are spell card gifs, it's not necessary to write the name of the spell on them. Imagine within an army an icon which shows 4 blue footsteps. If you don't know what that means, you can read Wind_Walk.gif on mouse-over and if you click on that icon it will show the text of that spell (instead of the different sides).

I thought about just adding Black to a terrain if it had Deadlands,
But I think players are accustomed to seeing cards.

I reallly like the bluefootsteps idea....
Maybe both the icon which shows 4 blue footsteps,
and a spell card.(Wind Walk)

Or the words Deadlands could be under a Terrain,
and the Terrain could have black in it.
