Now don't get carried away here. If you win the horde roll (I have any number of armies that could average better), you have a choice: go first or pick the terrain. You no longer get to do both.

I'm curious, why the lone 6 missile units? They seem out of place...

I'd love to play against you. A typical Magic/Maneuver army with Black and Gold magic.

I'd put my Lava Elves, Treefolk, or Frostwings up against them.

Cool

Unfortunately I won't be going to any Con's this year. Too busy watching my wife be in Labor.

I keep getting the old and new rules confused, probably because I haven't played much since the new rules have come out. Either way, I stilll think this army kicks butt, even if it is unlikely to beat its way out of a paper bag. Confused

Remember too, I'm used to playing against a twelve year old, who I beat on a regular basis, often with inferior armies, simply because he's too impatient to play his troops properly. Laughing

About the six missle units, I teamed them up with the magicians so that anything rolled on the lower spectrum of the die (in this case a swampland, so 1-4) the army would have some use. I figured also that it might not be too difficult to maneuver down from 5, or even six if there was a little help from the goblins at the terrain. Of course, seeing how they have so few, and the stalkers having none, I can see where this theory is flawed.

You also may have uncovered one of my worst Dragon Dice weaknesses, so obvious in this army, which is that I build my armies around a theme, story, or idea, with complete disregard for how they might perform! Shocked

It's not that I don't WANT to win, but if my army doesn't have style, then what is the point of playing? Laughing Laughing Laughing

I understand completely. Why else did I build an army about Inferno's who captured Unicorns and rode them to defeat.
