Promote Sorcerer to Lord - Dragon combo roll -
Lord - Smite
Master - Logo
Enthraller - 3 Magic
Mount - 2 Maneuvers
Logo + Smite = 6 melee
Mount's autosaves = 2, 1 damage comes through. It's absorbed.
1st March - Magic in reserves
Lord - Logo
Knights - ID, ID, 2 maneuvers, 2 maneuvers
Charkin - ID, Counter
9 IDs = Spark of Life on Sorcerer for 9.
2nd March Magic at home
Lord - Sneak attack
Master - Fly
Enthraller - 4
Rise of Eldarim for 3 on Spellbinder.
Reserves - all to my home.

My 8th turn:

So Combo Roll against Dragons 24 damage (This could be it...)
Charkin: 4 Counter
Dragonlord: 4 Sneak Attack
Dragonlord: 4 Fly
Dragonne Knight: 2 Melee
Dragonne Knight: 3 ID
Dragonne Knight: 2 Melee
Gold Dragonmaster: 4 Cantrip
Gold Dragonmount: 2 Maneuver
Gold Enthraller: 3 Magic
Gold Sorcerer: 3 Fly
Gold Spellbinder: 1 ID
4 Counter + 4 Fly + 3 ID + 3 Fly + 1 ID = 15 saves
4 Counter + 4 Sneak attack + 2 melee + 2 melee = 12 melee (1 dead dragon)
Cantrip = summon scout
Roll scout - Gold Dragonscout: 1 ID
15 saves + Scout ID = 16 + 3 auto saves (dkin) = 19
So 5 damage - Mount and Scout to summoning pool. Enthraller to DuA
Spellbinder promotes to Enthraller.
So I can continue to sit here at 3 and keep my Eldarim up, but I have no way to bring back my Scalders. Or I can try to get the 8th, but I'll take many casualties along the way and maybe make it with an Eldarim or 2 left. However, Path / TRtM would stop it in a minute. So unless you somehow start rolling absolute horrible dice and I rolled amazing this game is over.
Thanks for the game! I learned some good lessons about hybrids.

Thank you for the game as well!
It took me some time to realize how low you where on resurrecional options. When you see mages across the board, you automatically assume that they bring back the dead. When I killed the lord I though the game was over, but the stupid chest kept you around. Reviving scalders was a possibility, but not the most stable one. You are on a red terrain, allowing you to double scalder Id's. Add in the lords and you could roughly revive one each turn. Still, The best you can do in this game is try to stay alive. There is very little that actually enables you create pressure to win the game.
It is a bit ironic that the think that shut you down was your own frontier. Not only did the double maneuvers stop you from getting me off the 8th, but summoning dragons would also have become an inefficient plan. I never really realized that I could summon a dragon before the dragon attack phase, allowing me to either summon a single dragon away or add a dragon of my own to have them fight each other.
I must say that I'm a bit relieved to have finally won a game against you. 1 - 4 isn't a great record, but at least now I know it is actually possible to beat you .

So you're saying I have a losing record against you this year?
Edit -
Yeah I knew once you grabbed the Lair the game was pretty much over unless I could get a lucky roll and you got a bad one with some TRtM, but the one time I had a chance you rolled crazy! And since I couldn't bring back the Scalders efficiently and you could bring back your own units fine, scorching shields wasn't that much of a threat, so I had to get them out of there.
That minor terrain and the misunderstanding of the hybrid dragon on my part really messed me up, but I learned something new, so that was great!
I think next time I'm going to go with Lava Elves / Scalders. Flaming Armor and Scorching Shields are just screaming to be mixed!
