-Didn't you forget to use a Confuse to have him reroll a Scalder save and avoid 8 points of Scorching Touch??

Oops, I forgot about that (since Chuck posted his counter-attack in the same post). Not that it really would have made too much of a difference in the end.

Also Chuck, were the Watery Doubles used since they last till the end of your turn and provide Counter/Scorching prevention even though Walls of Ice would have been more saves?

Yes, that is the reason he used them.

Lastly, awesome game, that was a blast to watch!! Swallow really is brutal!

Yes, swallow is brutal. I should have said no more than two of any particular monster. Maybe someday I'll let them out of their cage Wink

Thanks piMaster! That was record timing, I'd just barely finished putting up a post in another thread/group.

Oops.... I didn't see it, I just read the summary at the end.

Since I ended up with an even number of green magic each time, a Wall of Ice would have only been one more save. And yes, the Watery Doubles work better when you expect to have melee again next turn because they last until the end of the next turn. And in case you haven't noticed, you can only have one Wall of Ice in effect on an army at a time. You cannot have 2 or more Walls of Ice on the same army.

Any SAI that requires an ID save is brutal against monsters. And as you saw, an automatic kill (and bury in this case) against group monsters.
