|
|
I got this Idea from Magic the Gathering (which I only recently started playing), from their sets "Unglued" and "Unhinged", which use cards that are illegal in any type of play, as many have 1/2 values and other mechanics that I don't remember.
Basically, this is my idea of a Dragon Dice expansion that will never exist and is illegal to play except in events allowing S&JW expansions.
Here's one terrain (not my idea):
GenCon Indy. 1Ma, 2Ma, 3Ma, 4Ma, 5Ma, 6Ma, 7Ma, 8 Convention Center.
At the convention center, the only action allowed is Magic, since weapons are prohibited, and you can revive exactly 2.5 health of dead units upon capturing.
Now for a unit (this is my idea):
Game Geek: common
ID, 1 fly, .5 magic, 1.5 magic, 1.5 smite, .5 cantrip, 1 melee.
Please add your ideas to this list. _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

I can't imagine any events would allow that

Instead of Smite, it should have an SAI called Gamer Funk:
Gamer Funk (Resolution Type: Instant) During any roll at a terrain, Gamer Funk causes one unit in each opposing army to immediately flee to its reserve area. If there are no opposing armies at the terrain, then Gamer Funk will instead immediately send one of it's army's own units to the reserve area. If the unit which rolled Gamer Funk is in the reserve area, then it kills one opposing unit. If there are no opposing units to kill, then Gamer Funk will instead kill one of your own units. _________________ "Everything Brad said is correct." - Chuck Pint |

There is by definition, no opposing units if the army is in reserves. So why make this so complex? Just say that if this unit rolls Gamer Funk in reserves, you blame your bad luck on your nearest parent/sibling/friends, and lose the game. _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Well, there may be during the resolution of a Haunt spell. |

Nope, "Opposing: An enemy unit, army, dragon or other component located at the same terrain as your own army." See the word "terrain" in there?
Nope, no straws here within grasp.... _________________ You can never have too many dice.

Fine, be that way
Gamer Funk (Resolution Type: Instant) During any roll at a terrain, Gamer Funk causes one unit in each army at the terrain to immediately flee to its reserve area. During any roll in the reserve area, Gamer Funk causes one unit in each army present to make a save avoidance roll. Units that fail their avoidance roll are killed. |

I don't think I've ever seen this many quotes in one quote...
Also, I can't quite seem to get the quote working correctly... _________________ Former Destroyer, son of Ddice

Pelter_Boy, here is a link on
How to Quote
I will add to your cracked egg magic card dice game:
Time Machine is a Magic Spoof card.(I have a foil one)
it works like this:
Tap it to remove a creature from the game,
then add its health up,
that detemines the following...i.e.
if the creature was 8 health,
then the creature returns to play....
the 8th game the opponents play again,
on the 8th turn.
So I think an artifact could be called Time Machine,
it would work the same way,
remove a creature from the game :
then its health would determine X:
return the creature on the X turn of the X time the players play again.
The Time Machine and unit both are removed from the game for X,
when the SAI is rolled.
