Three Dragonkin Champions.

Payouts were arranged something like this:
a) There was a bag you could randomly pull out a die (common dice from Frostwing/Scalder promo run plus a couple of Blue/Red Dragonkin Champions). This for the the no-win rolls, so everyone that plays gets something.
b) There was a clear ziplock bag with some of the rarer dice from the Frostwing/Scalder promo run. You got to choose one of these dice for certain rolls (I don't remember what the "magic" rolls were).
c) There was also a promo Magi, perhaps others to choose from as well, for those that got the "magic" roll (all SFR logos I think).

I probably missed something, but that should give you some idea what it was like.

If Someone knows the Dragons Slots Chart please post it.
I only know two of the combinations:

3 SFR ICONS
3 Flames

What are the other ones? Rolling Eyes

Thanks. I might work up some stats for 3 dragons just to see...

I made up the rules and charts for Dragon Slots, so I have them. I'll see if I can put them on my web site somewhere. I even have the original DS board, although I changed some of the signs for Dreamation.

You rolled three DKCs. There were multiple "payoff" levels:

1) Three SFR logos won a Treefolk kicker and an entry into a drawing for a uniquely inked TF monster die (red or maroon ink). No one got this 1 in 216 roll.

2) Three IDs won choice from the "Super Prize" bag, which had FR/SC promos like the Bear Master and Searer. We had a few winners at this level.

3) Any other 3 of a kind won a die from the "Super Prize" bag, which were some of the slightly rarer FR/SC promos. More winners here.

4) Any pair won choice of dice from the Prize Bag. These were the common FR/SC promos and red and blue DKCs. Most of our players caught this level or higher.

5) No matches at all won a random draw from the "Lucky Bag of Dice," which was a mix of the dice from the Prize Bag. Most players caught on that if you made multiple rolls, draw your random dice first, then fill out what you wanted from the level you won.

To enhance the probability if matches, the SFR logo was a "wild die" which matched any other roll. So the odds of getting a pair or a three weren't as remote as they would normally be. (I had the exact odds figured, but I'm not reworking them now.)

It was called "Dragon Slots" rather than "Dragonkin Slots" because...well, if you can't figure this out, you obviously are a rules lawyer rather than a marketer. Smile

It debuted at GenCon, and I also used it at Dreamation. However, I have a new game to try out at DexCon this summer...

I'm not surprised most people got this one.

I'm a geek. I did it. I started doing it based on probability theory, but the 'pair' was coming up too large, so I just did it emperically.

How did you ever guess?
