Two scenarios came up in a game the other night that I wasn't sure how they should have been played. Hoping someone can help.
1) During a missile roll both a Bullseye and Cantrip were rolled. Can units killed by Bullseye be buried with "ashes to ashes" cast by Cantrip?
2) This is just a question on how dice modifiers should be calculated. So a swampstalker army had "Dancing Lights" and 4 "Palsies" cast on it. The army rolled magic. The results came up 3 normal magic and 3 ID icons worth of magic. The swampstalker army has enough dead to double all 3 ID icons. How much magic was cast? I said 2 my opponent said 4, who was right or were we both wrong?
My Thinking...
6 magic minus 4 for Palsies equals 2. Divided by 2 for dancing lights equals 1. Then only 1 point of magic is left so it was the only one that could be doubled for the ID icon making 2.
His Thinking...
6 magic minus 4 for Palsies equals 2. Divided by 2 for dancing lights equals 1. Then all 3 ID icons are doubled making 3, added to the one that is left equals 4.
On a side note, had a cantrip been rolled would the 4 points generated be effected by Dancing Lights and Palsy?
Thanks,

Yes.

That is correct.

No. Any ID icons that are subtracted out do not get doubled.

No. SAIs cannot have minuses applied to them, nor can they be halved. |
