Yikes, now I've done it.....

here is the question:

If you have a Dragonstaff at an 8th face standing stones,
does the dragonstaff get to cast the magic from the colors in the standing stones,
even if it does not have those colors?

ie can a gold dragon staff cast black if the 8th face standing stones had a deadlands?

and if so....
does the Dragonstaff ID then get to cast black racial spell?

so basically .....
can the Dragonstaff ever cast any other color magic besides the color that it is?

Any unit or item can change it's magic results to one of the colors of a Standing Stones when the army owns the eighth face. Only if the unit or item's ID matches a color of the Standing Stones (or for black uses dead in a DUA) can that magic be doubled.

So yes a gold Dragonstaff can cast black spells if at a Standing Stones eighth with a Deadlands. However, the Dragonstaff's ID can only cast racial spells that match it's color, unless at least one unit of that race is in the army. If it's a gold Dragonstaff at a Coastland Standing Stones, the ID could not be doubled. Of course, it (like any other item or unit) can cast basic spells (or racial spells of units in the army) even if the color is changed by a Standing Stones.

Could a golden staff summon dragon SAI be used to summon a blue dragon at flatlands or some other color at a standing stones terrain?
Also, can the summon dragon SAI in general summon ivory dragons or be put towards half the points it would take to summon a white dragon?
