Just wanted to make sure:
If Counter is rolled during a save roll, it inflicts damage with no saves possible. If now the attacked army counter-attacks and the previously attacking and now defending army rolls a counter as well, the Counter SAI inflicts damage as well, right?
The rules state "during the save roll in a melee attack", so it doesn't matter whether it is rolled in the actual attack or the following counter attack, right?

Right.
BTW, magical saves (such as Stoneskin) can be used to reduce the Counter's damage. |
