The army I used at DEXCON X to win the 2007 U.S. National Championship consisted of:
1 x Goblin Marauder
3 x Goblin Leopard Rider
1 x Goblin Filcher
1 x Goblin Wardog Rider
1 x Black Dragonhunter
1 x Gold Medallion
3 x Troll
1 x Swampland Temple
1 x Swampland City
1 x Gold Drake
1 x Gold Wyrm
(no Dragonkin, no minor terrains - I didn't use any Magestorm)

Thanks Dan...
I'm adding the Assailer,
as I understand Jonathon used a Frostwing Missile/Magic army...
and based on the previous Frostwing army I played against him...he used an Assailer.

I'll have to dig up my old army sheets to figure out exactly what I had in my armies. (I think I might actually have the army sitting in a separate bag in the closet.) I remember there were a lot of Coral Elf cavalry and a Coral Giant in the army the year I won Nationals and Worlds.

Jared used blue magic to cast Windwalk and/or Lightning Strike to help maneuver or remove threats. Wall of Ice was used a few times, and Flash Flood was available as an option - although not used during his three matches. The Unicorn and Gargoyle offered Dispel Magic, which came up for him a few times when needed, but they also offered their racial abilities when maneuvering. The Dragonlord generated quite a few Cantrips during Jared's matches, offering diverse spell options from Burning Hands to Path to Windwalk, or helping the Selumari™ magicians during a magic action. |
