Hi All,

Just a few questions. Have we ever been to or had a representation at NORWESCON? (The Northwest's Annual Premiere Sci-Fi/Fantasy Convention) Would we like to have one? Is there a Seattle Rep that I could coordinate with? How much work would it be to demo at a convention? Am I getting in over my head? Laughing

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
Dave

Well, I'm in Seattle this week, but I don't think that makes me a Seattle rep. Embarassed

From what I've seen, most Science Fiction/Fanstsy Conventions are not really into games. Sure they setup a game room. But it's not the main thing. Could you get a few people interested? Maybe. Is it worth having a booth? Very likely not. If a local game store is going to have a booth at the con, it may work to talk with them and at least get them to bring some product. Then demo the hell out of Dragon Dice in the game room. So keep all that in mind before going.

dproman,
we should get some planning started for our presence at Gamestorm 11 next March.Since it is a con devoted to games, it would probably be a better place to demo.I demo'd and ran some Dragon Dice games at Gamestorm 9, and Ghostman demo'd some at GS10.All you have to do is register to run the games. It would be cool to set up a booth next year though...maybe even get some support from SFR in the form of tourny prize or a visit from 1 of the BOD. Shocked

Well, there WILL be representation at Norwescon after all. I'm going to be going up there with the self-same trial set that Dave brought to Gamestorm to addict ME. I have every intent to addict others!
