I'd like to get a beginner tournament together in the next ~3 weeks.
18-point army
No Magestorm
No hybrid dragons
Matches will be best two out of three games
Swiss rounds, based on attendance
Final round is a four-player game
I'd like a promo die for each player in the final round, with a second die for the winner. How much would it cost for 5 promo dice for prizes? Medallions, dragonkin, something special. |

This might fit better in the rep forum, but there are different levels of promo's.
What you will see at something large like Gencon is a prototype and even there we have three levels of prototypes based on how many people enter the event and their final ranking.
If you are doing a beginners tournament then they really don't qualify for that large of a prize based on both size and skill.
I would recommend something that fits better with novice players. i.e. something that can be purchased, but is something they wouldn't have yet. hunters, masters, etc. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |
