What I mean is, do you like to deploy 18 magic and 18 calvary? maybe 18 ranged and 18 melee. I know, everything depends and is situation, but assuming it was 36 pts. standard rules and both players had a dragon shield.
Perhaps 2 monsters and the rest commons in your armies, maybe you wanted to put a dragons lair in the frontier?

My personal favorite is a single race Undead deployment as follows:
18 melee starting on the frontier. I Carrion Crawler leading them followed by 2 mummies, 2 whites and 4 zombies set as the horde or campaign just depending.

To back them up I have my Undead "Light" magic group at home in the highlands with a standing stones, though not necessary. A Dracolich at the head, 2 Vampires 2 Ghasts and 4 Ghouls.

This is just common as it is a smooth going play model that is nice cause' it hardly ever loses. Yes I am posting my favorite set up, but anyone who plays with me regularly knows it already. I dont post my tricks online guys, come on! Certainly I am not askin' you to do the same. Just let the rest of us know what you consider easy rollin' to victory as a favored start.

I have no idea where I got this reputation of being so badass at this game. Katsu didnt hav much of a problem taking out my all monster army Evil or Very Mad

Oh now now Egg, your reputation of bein' a killa came from you bein' a killa. Natalya said you were spot on your moves and when I was playing w/DProman he said many a time that your hardcore and a force to be reckoned with. Modesty wont save you my friend.
