Picked up Dragon Dice at Gen Con this year and was wondering if anyone in the NYC area plays? Would like to meet-up, learn the game better and build some armies.

How do you define NYC area? I'm in East Brunswick, NJ and Dan Burkley is in Hillsborough, NJ. There are a few other DD players around the state here, too. _________________ Steve "DDice" Braun

I might be willing to come up for a weekend on occasion, if there is a tourney and I have some place to crash since hotels are very expensive up there. _________________ Michael DeZearn

@ddicerc
I normally attend various board game meetups in Manhattan or Brooklyn. I live in Brooklyn and one of the places I go to at times is Kings Games. Hopefully, they will start carrying Dragon Dice at some point. One of the employees wasn't aware it was back and is checking it out. I'm going to continue to request and hopefully get some people interested.
@MikeD
I'm not aware of any tourneys here in NYC at this time but if you're ever in the area let me know.

| You might see about attending PAX East in Boston! We will be there again this year! Hoping to get to run some events but depends on if we get enough players (and workers!) |

| Looks like I missed PAX East this year - I have an order being shipped and working on an army. I have an idea, but being a newbie this may fall flat. I really need to play some games outside of Gen Con demos and the instruction booklet to get a good feel. I have to add that the Dice Browser is great for beginners as it helps identifying the makeup of any army I build. With any collectible game, I feel this is going to get addictive! In such a large city, I'm surprised I haven't crossed paths with other people who play the game. |

you just missed pax prime which is out west. pax east in boston will be in early april.
btw let your game store owner know that his distributor will lie to him. they will tell him its out of stock or out of print or unavailable, but its not true. they just dont wanna put any effort into it.
if the distributor wont sell him dice we will do it directly. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |
