If your a player playing against swampstalker or treefolk, just a friendly piece of advice, move the terrain down to what you want and not up. Between flashflood/Wall of thorns and/or Flashflood/Mire your never going to get where you are going without taking heavy losses. Either that or have a good dispel bank or nightmoves handy.

This assumes you're playing magic or missile, and TF are exceptionally reliable at either. All the TF Heavy units have an 83% chance to melee, as does the TF rare Missile.

You beat TF with aggression; they have lots of saves, but often only on one face.

Edit: This is why I love the various Willows; they save better than most, tend to Maneuver almost as well as Cavalry, and the Noble Willow offers recursion to help battles of attrition.

SAI maneuvers are the key against the TRtM and Flash Flood. Or Wind Walks.
