I'm looking at my Swamp Stalker army, and I looked up other options and found the Wave Rider. I've got a decent Cavalry going, but more couldn't hurt. The thing is, Coil confuses me.
It can't be split (which makes sense), so it'll outright kill rares and lower (usually), right? But that combination roll worries me. A heavy melee non-common could kill him back. That seems risky.
One question about the combination roll: if they roll melee and kill it, does that also negate his damage?[/list] |

It depends on what it rolls and what spells it has on it. An oakling with a flaming armor on it could survive if it rolls its 2-save face.

Yes, it is risky. Choose your target carefully.

No, it needs to generate saves to reduce the damage. The only way it could both save and kill the coiling unit is to roll an SAI like Counter. |

| Hmm. Okay, I guess I can see its value. Knowing that you can nearly guarantee a kill on a rare or lower (not quite guarantee) is pretty potent. Thanks! |
