I am sure many here have done this already but i figured I would post what i have done so far.

Using a spread sheet, i labeled one column: Unit, Melee, Missile, Magic, Maneuver, Save, and HP. Then in the columns next to it would put the name of the unit ,its respective stats (in percentile), and its health worth (hp).

After putting all the units in columns i would simply write out an army design then cut and paste the units in a separate row. I would analyze for : Average Action Result, Standard deviation, and the highs and lows each deviation would result with respect to the action type.

From there I would try to tweak the army by tightening the Standard deviations, for a more predictable outcome. However this can also be frustrating haha.

That's what DDAssist was written to do. You can find it here.

My eventual goal is to put something like this into the Dice Browser on the website, but its not at the top of the priority list just yet Wink
