It's February, and it's sunny and 72 degrees! Everyone wants to play in Los Angeles, right? Cool

Cliff (quickbeam) and Nicholas (evylution) are our local Gods of Dragon Dice (I'm just the boobs of the operation), and we will be running lots of demos as well as TWO tournaments over the course of the weekend!

Saturday, 2/18: Sealed Starter NoviceTournament
Players use a 2-player Sealed Starter Box and are given 10 minutes to trade with others, 36 health, no magic limit, standard tournament rules. Prizes: DragonCrusader & DragonMaster: 4-health champions with special powers. $10 buy-in and you get to keep your starter box!

Sunday, 2/19: 36-Point Build-Your-own Army Tournament $5 buy-in and you get a kicker pack of your choice to keep!

SFR has come through with some pretty groovy prize support for us, too!

I wish I could be in this instead of on business travel in Arizona right now...

But I guess I can't complain. I've had quite a bit of fun out here so far. Smile

Someday I'll make it to one of these Dragon Dice tournaments.

Aw, we're sorry to have missed you! You would definitely have enjoyed it! We had an incredibly successful time at OrcCon this year, and we're already starting to plot and scheme for next year, not to mention Gamex over Memorial Day and Gateway over Labor Day (although, for the record, OrcCon really is "the big one").

We ran demo games for dozens of enthusiastic new players, until we were literally losing our voices at 1 in the morning! We had two outstanding tournaments (yours truly could not have been more excited to win the Sealed Box tourney on Saturday!), and the Con organizers simply adore us.

We were also so excited to have Dave, aka dproman, SFR's very own Rep Director join us on Saturday all the way from Portland!

An amazing time was had by all, and I'd write more about it, but I have to get ready to head out to our weekly dice night in Burbank! Cheers, all!
