For all of you in the upper Midwest area, the mext meeting of teh Windy City Bone Rollers will be Saturday May 4. This month's theme is "Ladies Knight". 60 health , 32 health of mages. All units must be in some way be either female or have "Knight" in their name. The Shieldbearer Eldarim units also qualify as female, as do harpies.

Are firewalkers or feral or frostwings female? You might want to give us a specific list of what's allowed. There aren't too many female units (are we all using treefolk and amazons for mages?). Is that exactly 32 points in mages or a maximum of 32 points?

In response to the question, feral, frostwingsm and firewalkers are NOT female. To clarify, non-monster treefolk are female, amazons are female (except for War drivers). Except for harpies, goblins aren't female, nor are swampstalkers. Undead do not have a gender as fard as I'm concerned. Magic items are OK. I hope that his list is sufficiently clear.

I hope that I can clear up some confusion. First of all , I consider all of the amazons EXCEPT for the War Chief (not the War driver) to be female. Both the treefolk mages and the treefolk cavalry units are female and allowed, along with the unicorn. I am not considering Frostwings or Firewalkers as female (even though Frostwings are one of my favorite races to play). Fae are neither male not female, so no to sprite swarms, but Dragonne Knights eagle knights are OK. After it was pointed out to me, I realized that I had said 60 health armies, when I meant 64 health (21 health of dragonkin) , of which no more than 32 health can be mages. Magic items are allowed. I realize that this format pushes us towards some very different army construction that what we are used to, but I thought that was the idea.

I can't speak for anyone else, but I cannot read your mind Pat and know which dice you consider to be female/not female. I would prefer that you make an explicit list of all dice that are allowed. That makes it easy for everyone - if its not on the list then its not allowed.

Also, would you consider the Kings' Die? Its got an Amazon on it...

Pi,

I'm under the impression that my previous post made the list of which units and components are allowed very clear. If a unit has the word "Knight" in it, it is allowed. If it is an amazon unit (except for the War chief) , it is allowed. Magic items and medallions are allowed. Treefolk cavalry and mages along with the unicorn are allowed. Goblin Harpies are allowed. Eldarim shieldbearers are allowed. All dragons are allowed. Mummies are allowed. If I haven't already mentioned it , it isn't allowed. I am not going to go through a list of 300+ individual dice and list what is or is not allowed for this format. I would not expect you to do that; I'm not certain why you would expect me to do that. If there is some other issue, then let's take it offline.

Yes, 64 health , which equals 16 medusas, or 16 harpies, or 64 shieldbearers, or 20 eagle knights and a medusa.
