SFR has had a lot of success at Pax East the last few years and would like to attend again, but we need your help!

We need volunteers to come and help us demo and teach this game that you know so well.

We also have some secret plans I'm trying to get ready by then, so our volunteers will be the first to hear about them!

if you can get yourself there and feed yourself and commit a large portion of the weekend to us, then we will give you a place to sleep and get you into the con and maybe a few extras as well... Wink

We have the space available and would love to have your assistance,

However, your profile says are from Oregon? PaxEast is in Boston, so the hardest part is getting yourself there...

I am in Oregon but I have the great luck of having a family member who works for an airline and may be able to help me get there. My only conflict at this point is that it overlaps with our local game con. Have to give that some more thought. Thanks

In any case, we'd love the help. It would be great if we had 4 people available to demo, and Tiffany to run the sales. Right now we have 2 people for demo for sure (Cliff and me). If we had 5 people, one person could be "off" at any given time, and we could all see the show. Last year, I had time to walk (quickly) through the show, but no time to see anything.

I hoping to have my son on-board as well (that week is his spring break), but we have to work out the logistics of him getting back to college without missing (too much) class time.

Ill try to get in touch with him over the holidays and see if I can make arrangements. I wouldn't expect it to take any longer than early January.

I'm bouncing this to the top of the list again.

We could really use two or three more volunteers...

There's something really cool you could learn about our future if you attend...

I'm not above bribery...

I apologize for the delay my life has become increasingly chaotic over the past few weeks. at this point due to circumstances beyond my control or prediction my financial situation has changed radically. at this point I don't have the stability to be able to plan for a trip that far out. sorry to disappoint I really would have loved to come work with you guys to promote this excellent game. If things calm down and your still looking for volunteers Ill check back in then

I suspect we have about 6 weeks or less before the expo badges are all given out. So we have until then to put in a request (at a guess).

However, you are much closer to Pax Prime being out west. So definately talk to Dave about volunteering there.

It's starting to look like Jon and I might actually be able to come, but only for Saturday (it's Palm Sunday weekend, and my church would kind of like me to preach that Sunday). If we can get a place to crash on Friday night, we'd drive up after school and be available for demos on Saturday. I'd work all day, but I promised Jon he could have a couple of hours to look around in exchange for a large portion of the day worked. What's the status of help for PAX East?

(I found out that if I go, it would greatly impress a number of the guys in our youth group. They would be convinced they had absolutely the coolest pastor ever!)

The hardest part is going to be badges...

Let me email and ask about the availability.

If you can get badges, Jon and I can definitely come for Saturday. We'll be leaving after school on Friday, so we'd only get there very late that night. However, if we come for Saturday, my wife and daughter might come up to do some sightseeing, and we'd get our own hotel room, so we wouldn't need a place to crash now.

I didn't get a response to my email about badges, so I'm going to call today and ask (if he'll answer the phone)

Steve, you are looking for two?

Cliff and Tiffany need one each.

Chuck, needs one. Were you able to decide on Paul or not?

ok, here's the deal.

We have 5 exhibitor badges (early access, late access, vip status). We can buy more if need be, but it doesn't look like we will need too.

I MIGHT be able to convert one of them to two three day badges (have to wait in line vs early access and won't be able to goto the vendor 'event' on thursday night. He's checking to see whats available.

So it really comes down to if we are having Paul or not.

and I'm assuming no one else is coming that I haven't listed.
