I would like to get some feedback, thoughts and ideas about this year's PAX Prime.

For next year (if we attend), what do you think about having an informal event for Friday night (first night of the con) like a "Dragon Dice Exhibition". In which all of our wonderful volunteers get to actually play DD in a head-to-head event/tournament. Spectators could observe actual games and then join us for "novice events" in the remaining days of the con.

I'm trying to come up with a way to have booth coverage as well as DD playing (for volunteers). We were busy just doing demos or hosting events with little or no time for pick up games (I'm not complaining, since I was the scheduler, just making an observation).

Any suggestions?

Cliff has more details, but at GenCon, we schedule time so everyone can play in at least one event per day. Of course, we schedule a lot more events at GenCon, so that may not translate well to PAX.
