So are they starters or kickers? Fifth monsters don't come in kickers, and you are out of elf starters, no?

You always ask the question I try to gloss over 
When i wrote the event it was with the intention of using starters (so no 5th monsters). We only have the two starters for sale on the website, but I might MIGHT have a few elf starter polybags floating around.
The normal sealed event will be starters as well.
The other sealed events will be kicker based.

Not for the team event, but we expect to have them for the other sealed events. There are four different sealed events, some will be kicker based and some will be starter based.

Probably not. We did that last year because we didn't get the dice in time for Gencon and wanted something for people to be excited about. My hope is to just have the dice available and be excited about them.

I'm guessing it was for the behemoth and cannibal...
they did a drawing for thoses dice at gencon with preorders getting tickets as well. |

yes, that is what I was talking about. Each day at GenCon, you would get a "dwarf ticket" if you ordered any dwarf kickers and a goblin ticket if you ordered any goblin kickers. Only one ticket each per day... and then only if you ordered them each day. Then at the end of the day, they drew a ticket from the dwarf bucket and a ticket from the cannibal bucket to award a free fifth monster of those races. There was also a ticket if you bought other stuff, and if you won that drawing, you got a death naga or an umber hulk. It was fun, but it was to support pre-orders.

We also did a drawing based on web orders at the time.
But please don't start praying that we won't get the dice just to have a drawing. Trust me, having the real product with no drawing is the better option.
BTW if any of you guys plan on buying 2 or 3 or 4 cases of either elf at gencon let me know and I'll bring extra. I don't wanna run out.
