After GM'ing 7 Dragon Dice tourneys at last week's Origins, I had a lot of time to reflect on the rules Very Happy . Anyway, I thought of one addition to the Intermediate rules set that would make these games much more interesting that just a Novice game with the ability to use the racial kickers, i.e., why not allow the use of Dragonkin and Minor Terrains in the Intermediate Army Tourneys? This would give more visibility to the Dragonkin and the minor terrains (hence the MageStorm set), make the Intermediate games more challenging and be a better step-up from the Novice level games on the path to Experienced level games. Just my 0.02 of your local currency.

I'd think that adding the racial spells would be a more logic first step. But we decided not to run any Intermediate constructed games at GenCon. We'll see how that goes.

BTW, how did the new Novice rules work out?

The new Novice Rules worked great for the sealed box tournament and the demos.

How was the quantity of demo starters? I think I sent 10 of each race. Was that way too much or too few?
