The folk there are very different from my usual Portland get togethers. However they are very much as great to jam with as any. Its just about a 2.5 hour commute for me via transit, however I get to make it there every couple months or so and its very worth it. Did some hard core trading and discussed strats. Dice age games is the usually spot.

I am most certainly wanting to go again and am looking forward to it. Anyone in or around this area needs to hit them up. They meet up on Wednesday nights and sometimes more often.

Yarg.... The minor terrain tweek is pretty universal at this point.

With that said. On the 2nd game I played. I went head to head with a frostwing army for a few rounds trading health for health on a 6th face. Then it happened... I rolled Revolt 3 times in a row. Yep. The crocasaur proved himself then though. Amazing dice. Still, When there is a riot on your hands naught can be done.

3rd game, went with undead. Would have won. Then it happened. On a 6th face I rolled a land slide. Lost a few, as we all know undead are slow. Then up to seventh face and my turn again. And again, a landslide.

I am pretty convinced I lost both games due to the Miner Terrains. Really good fun though.

Game 1 with the boss DProman. He went with an ALL melee army. He took me on at swampland (I was SS/Goblin) and when some mammoth riders and searers are at your door step, they tell you how things are gonna go down.

Ugly day for me at the Couve' but man always good stuff and ill be back!
