A number of people have asked "What effect does the Dragonstaff's Dragon Summoning SAI have on Ivory/White dragons?" The simple answer is none.

For white dragons, the answer is clear on page 53 of the rules. At the end of the second paragraph about white dragons, it says: "Dragonstaffs have no effect on white dragons."

For ivory dragons, the answer is not as clear-cut. But on page 45 of the rules, it has the description of the Summon Dragon SAI (only found on Dragonstaffs). The key thing in that description is that Summon Dragon works only on dragons of the same color. Page 4 hints at the fact that ivory signifies a lack of any color aspect or color element. Page 55 under "Aspect" states this again. On page 56 under "Color" it states that ivory is not attuned to any color. So taken all together, it is clear that unlike white (which is all elemental colors), ivory is the lack of all elemental colors. So because ivory dragons lack any elemental colors, there is nothing for a Dragonstaff's Summon Dragon SAI to "lock onto".

One other question about white dragons that has come up: "How many points of autosave does a white dragon have: 5 or 10?" You'll notice on page 53 of rules about white dragons, everything is listed as double except autosaves. Since it does not say that autosaves are double, and the belly icon and other places talk about 5 autosaves on dragons, white dragons have 5 autosaves. In other words, it takes 15 points of melee or missile to kill a white dragon that does not roll belly. If another dragon breathes on a white dragon, it loses 5 points of autosave.
