I was wondering if the rulebook is mostly finished, or partial, or not started yet?
Looks like the forum section for 3.0 rules was created 2 years ago.

Yeah, I'd love to know this too. I've been wondering about this question for a few months now. However, from what I understand, this forum thread is only a small part of the process. There's obviously a lot of work needed behind-the-scenes. And with a number of stakeholders in the process, I'm imagining this will take quite some time.

As much as I accept that as a reality, it's a little disappointing because just from the public discussions so far, I can see how much better Dragon Dice 3.0 is going to be. I've been running demos lately but something in the back of my mind is a little reluctant to do too much, too soon in case the new rules come out soon. The old rules really are woeful to teach the game with and I don't want to show people the game only to have them put off by the complicated rules.

I would love to know, if anything can be said, if there is even a rough idea of when to expect movement on this, or a final product?

I would also like an answer to this.

I am going to be teaching this game to some people and I want to print up and laminate some pretty sheets for each race.

3.0 due out any time soon?

There was a group that was rewriting the rules into 3.0. That group just sorta disappeared. Mostly because the rules changes being proposed were just too radical.

Version 3.0 will get done, I just don't have a time frame right now.
