Hello all,
It's been a while, but Dragon Dice popped back into my head this morning and i thought i'd share a great idea for Dragon Dice.(This seemed like the good place for a topic such as this)
There is a "game" called Tabletop Simulator and you can create board games in the digital space such as:
Small World
and one of my favorites: Betrayal at house on the haunted hill
Now all that being said, it is still an Early Access game, There is no ability to create custom dice....YET!
Once the ability to create custom dice comes out, I think it would be a GREAT thing for Dragon dice if I, or someone else, creates a mod for it and we can show it off to the world even more Not to mention play it ourselves!
Let me know what you think! |

| I've heard of this and it does sound interesting. Adding custom dice would be a huge boon for several games, not to mention making Dragon Dice feasible for this interface. It would be really cool, though I imagine quite difficult, to implement Dragon Dice into it, but it's definitely something to look into. |

I had the same idea when I saw Tabletop Simulator. You can spawn custom objects in the game now. I modeled some Coral Elves in the game. I think they turned out pretty good.

Dwarves, Goblins, and Dragons
I think it will work out pretty well. I have to come up with some static boards for army placement, but I think I'm going to finish modeling all the dice first. The only real problem I can think of now is that Tabletop Simulator doesn't allow you to select a specific face of the die to turn up yet. This obviously causes problems for terrains. I suppose you could get around this by making a deck of cards with the terrain image on each card, and then put the correct card on top of the deck during play, but it isn't the same. We're playing dragon DICE not dragon CARDS, after all. Hopefully, the folks at Berserk Games will add a finer degree of object manipulation in the game soon. |

Very nice looking.
Yes, they should have the ability to select a die face as well as roll it.
There should be a place to suggest changes to the developers.
are you able to change the tabletop image at all?
it would be nice to just slip our website somewhere on the 'tablecloth' for anyone else who happens upon the game. _________________ Multiplayer Champion Gencon11/Battlefest Champion(tied) GenCon10/World Champion GenCon07/National Champion Origins05/Intermediate Champion GenCon02/Novice Champion Origins99 |

| Yes, everything in the simulator is completely customizable. When I finally post the mod for folks to play, there will be a custom table with appropriate logos and art. The description will also link back to the main SFR site and official rules. My hope is that people will get interested in the virtual Dragon Dice, and then come to the main page and maybe buy some real dice! |

I came here looking exactly for this! I'm excited to see how far it's progressed. I'll be happy to try this out when it's done. |

| Ooh! I ran into this online the other day while looking at pictures of Dragon Dice. I'm excited! Seems like a good, easy way to simulate play and polish up my grasp of the rules. |

I implemented the Eldarim Champions and Deadlands into the TTS. Problem with the old dice is, since the last update you can't rotate them anymore with the number keys. They seem to have lost this ability. Vexus and I found out how to revamp the old functions, but it'll take some time. _________________ German Masters Winner 2012
