Hello All,
I am starting a Northern VA monthly get together.
My first will be on the 6th of September @ Comics and Gaming in Gainesville, VA.
The October event will be on the 11th of October same location.

Starting at 6pm. I am planning on doing a few demos and seeing if we want to do some 1 on 1 games.
For the 1 on 1 games standard 36 point armies with no more than 1/2 magicians.

I travel to Chantilly for work often, but I am never there over the weekend. Any chance you do one of these in the middle of the week?

I could be talked into playing some. I actually live in Chantilly. I think we played at GenCon. Let me know when you are going to be in the area and we can work something out.

Hello All,
The event was a little light. I had one other person and myself to play a game. I did have a few people wonder by asking what it was. They seemed interested in next months get together.
With that said my next months get together will be the 11th of October the same place and again at 6pm.
I hope I can double the amount of people there!

And that's a great start! I've been in San Diego for nearly two years now. I only just discovered (but still have yet to meet) one other player in the area. Last week, I also very successfully introduced the game to a friend of mine.
Over the past 2 years, I have done some introduction of the game to 3 other people, but not too successfully. I'm hoping this other player I discovered and my friend I introduced the game to is the start I need to having a Dragon Dice group here. I even had 2 others in our game group express interest in trying the game, just need to find the time to meet now.
The best selling point to teaching the game seems to be "You don't need to buy any dice, you can use mine."  |
