I can't believe I forgot to post this here.

Lester Smith* has developed a simple RPG concept and is funding it via Kickstarter.

Dragon Dice is going to be a realm within it (along with several others) and he's adapted it to use our terrains and magic items.

This isn't the Dragon Dice RPG that we need, but it might be the one we deserve... It is a start.

There is also an add-on for a battlechest and battlefield expansion. The discount for getting this as part of the kickstarter is essentially free shipping.

This Kickstarter ends in 60 hours, but if you miss it and can make it to Gencon Lester is doing demo's of the CORE system as events in the RPG hall. (probably not the dragon dice version)

I'm glad I got in on this. I've been trying to collect up Dragon Dice lore, and I'm not sure this'll have anything new, but this will be awesome to have available. Plus, it's Lester Smith! I'm excited I got in on this.
